Acer has promoted Indu Rashmi to the position of Head of Human Resources (HR).
Prior to her new role, Rashmi had been a part of Acer as Senior Manager of Human Resources (Talent Transformation Head). She was appointed to this position in August 2021. With her expertise in talent development, employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and other crucial HR skills, Rashmi has contributed significantly to Acer’s operations over a long period of time.
Rashmi’s association with Acer began when she joined Acer India as a Management Trainee, Human Resources in April 2008. In April 2009, she was appointed as Senior Executive – Corporate HR, a position she held until October 2010. Rashmi rejoined Acer India in November 2011 as Assistant Manager, Human Resource,s and was also given the role of Manager of Human Resources in July 2018. She remained on both these positions until January 2021.
From January 2021 to August 2021, Rashmi briefly worked for Capco as Manager of Human Capital. In the past, she has also been with Symphony Teleca and Kyocera International – Communications Equipment Group.
Thanks to her years of hard work and dedication, Rashmi has been recognised by many as a leading figure in the HR community. She was even recognised by People Business Consulting as one of the T A Pai Top Young HR Leaders for 2024, highlighting her leadership potential and HR acumen.
