Gruner Renewable Energy has appointed Dr. Hardip Baria as the Vice President (VP) of Human Resources (HR).

As an HR veteran, Dr. Baria is an expert in creating workforce strategies that utilize talent, culture, and operations to drive business growth. “My hands-on approach drives strategic execution, fosters strong employer-employee relations, and ensures operational excellence,” Dr. Baria explained his working strategy.
Before joining Gruner, Dr. Baria served as the General Manager of HR and administration at Omnitech Engineering from November 2024 to April 2025. While there, he oversaw various HR strategies meant to improve talent acquisition and employee engagement and create a high-performance culture, working with the company leadership for the same.
Over the years, Dr. Baria has worked with IBCC Industries, Gujarat Gas Limited, Essar Energy, and Uttam Galva Steel. His diverse work has helped him become an expert in change management, career development coaching, leadership development, and life coaching. Dr. Baria is also an accomplished public speaker and is known for his HR consulting skills.
Dr. Baria started his career as an engineer after graduating from the National Institute of Technology Surat with a degree in mechanical engineering. He soon found his calling in HR and went on to get a post-graduate diploma in business management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. Dr. Baria also holds an honorary doctorate in HR from the Dunster Business School.
