Husk Power has appointed Preeti Ahuja as its Chief People Officer.
Active in the HR industry for two decades, Ahuja is an expert in change management, career development coaching, corporate training, and leadership development. She is also known for her skills in interview preparation, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and HR consulting.
Since February 2025, Ahuja has also been active as the Director of Talent Development for the Economic Transformation Council. The organization is dedicated towards the development of national socio-econominc infrastructure. Through her current positions and past experience, Ahuja often takes part in crucial industry events that promote innovation and diversity.
Prior to Husk Power, Ahuja was a part of the Atlas Copco Group, working as the company’s Global HR Leader. From November 2021 to March 2023, she held the position of Head of People at Peak. Over twenty years, she has worked at various companies, including Alfa Laval, Lear Corporation, Emerson, Gemstone Systems (now a part of VMware), and Larsen & Toubro.
Ahuja has a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Mohanlal Sukhadia University and a master’s degree in labor laws from Savitribai Phule Pune University. She also has a Master of Administration Business (MBA) degree from Balaji Institute of Modern Management in HR Management/Personnel Administration and completed an executive program from XLRI Jamshedpur to learn about Human Resource Management from SHRM.
